How to Upgrade to Official WhatsApp on the Android Phone?

Our MobileTrans installs a specific version WhatsApp to Android phone. Please follow the steps to install normal WhatsApp Messenger and keep transferred WhatsApp messages.

Step 1

Please click WhatsApp > Chats backup > Backup

Step 2

Wait until it succeeds the backup. You can see the time besides Local after it completes.

Step 3

Uninstall WhatsApp and install official WhatsApp Messenger.And then please open phone storage permissions.

Set WhatApp Messenger disconnect from Google Drive.

1. Log in to Google Drive. Click the 【Settings】 button in the upper left corner and select Settings

2. Switch to the Manage Apps page in Settings. Scroll to the WhatsApp Messenger list at the bottom of the page. Click the 【OPTIONS】 button, and select the Disconnect from Drive option.

Step 5

Activate your WhatsApp account with the same phone number and operate as the image shows on the device. You're able to back up to Google Drive in the normal WhatsApp. Go to WhatsApp > Chats backup > Google Drive.
