How to enable Low Power Mode on iPhone?

Low Power Mode reduces background activity and some visual effects so your iPhone battery lasts longer when you cannot charge right away.

Steps
  1. Open Settings > Battery.
  2. Turn on Low Power Mode.
  3. You can also add Low Power Mode to Control Center for quicker access.
  4. When your iPhone charges past 80 percent, Low Power Mode usually turns off automatically.
What Changes
  • Mail fetch, background refresh, and some visual effects are reduced.
  • Performance may feel slightly less aggressive during heavy use.
  • On supported models, refresh rate and some background tasks can be limited.
Pro Tip

Use Low Power Mode early, not only at 5 percent. Turning it on sooner often helps you avoid emergency battery drain later in the day.
