How to turn on Auto Blocker on Samsung?

Samsung Auto Blocker adds another safety layer by blocking untrusted app installs and some risky USB commands. On supported Galaxy phones, you can enable it from Security and privacy settings.

Steps
  1. Open Settings and tap Security and privacy.
  2. Find and open Auto Blocker.
  3. Turn the feature on.
  4. Review any extra restrictions or stronger protection options your device shows and keep them on if they fit your needs.
Quick Checks
  • Newer Galaxy devices may already have Auto Blocker turned on by default.
  • Turning it on can block APK installs from unknown sources until you disable it again.
  • Extra restrictions can vary depending on your One UI version and device model.
Tips
  • Leave Auto Blocker on unless you have a specific trusted reason to sideload apps.
  • If something legitimate stops working, disable the feature temporarily, finish the task, and turn it back on.
