How to customize Always On Display on Samsung?

You can customize Always On Display from Samsung's lock screen and AOD settings. There you can choose when it appears, which clock style it uses, and what extra information shows on screen.

Steps
  1. Open Settings and go to Lock screen and AOD, or open Lock screen and then Always On Display.
  2. Turn Always On Display on.
  3. Choose how it appears, such as Tap to show, Always, or a schedule.
  4. Adjust the clock style, widgets, music info, or brightness-related options if they are available.
Quick Checks
  • Power saving mode can reduce or change AOD behavior on some Galaxy models.
  • Always On Display uses only a small part of the screen at a time to help prevent burn-in.
  • The available clock styles and widgets depend on your phone model and One UI version.
Tips
  • Use a schedule if you want the feature only during work hours or daytime.
  • If the screen feels too busy, keep only the clock and the most important notification icons visible.
