How to scan documents with iPhone?

You can scan documents with iPhone using the Notes app, which automatically detects the page and saves it as a clean digital scan.

Steps
  1. Open Notes and create a new note or open an existing one.
  2. Tap the attachment or camera button, then choose Scan Documents.
  3. Position the page in view and let iPhone capture it automatically, or tap the shutter manually.
  4. Adjust the corners if needed, save the scan, and share or export it as a PDF.
Quick Checks
  • A flat page and even lighting give the cleanest results.
  • You can scan multiple pages into one document before saving.
  • Some newer iPhone workflows also let you scan from other Apple apps such as Preview or Files.
Pro Tip

Turn on Grid in Camera settings if you want easier page alignment. Straight pages usually need less cropping later.
