Step 5. That’s it! This will just paste the profile link of Instagram on WhatsApp and generate its thumbnail. You can now send it to your WhatsApp contact easily.

Just like Instagram profiles, you can also share Instagram stories on WhatsApp. If you want, you can share someone else’s story to a WhatsApp contact or post your Instagram story as your WhatsApp status. Step 2. If you want, you can access someone else’s Instagram story and tap on the send icon from the bottom to get the same option.
Step 3. Now, from the provided options for the Instagram story, you can directly copy its link or select the “Share to” feature.
Step 4. If you have copied the link, then you can directly go to WhatsApp, open any chat, and paste the link.
Step 5. In case you have selected the “Share to” feature, then Instagram will display various platforms. From here, just choose WhatsApp to open the app. You can now share it as your WhatsApp Status or forward it to any WhatsApp contact.

Lastly, you might wish to learn how to share Instagram videos on WhatsApp too. Ideally, the process to share any Instagram post (picture or video) is pretty basic. You can do this by copying the link of the post or directly share it on WhatsApp.

Step 1. You can first launch the Instagram app on your phone and simply look for a photo or video post on Instagram. Now, just tap on the three-dot icon that you can find at the top of the post.
Step 2. From the list of the provided options, you can select the “Copy Link” or “Share to” feature.
Step 3. If you have copied the link, then you can later launch WhatsApp and directly paste the URL of the Instagram video on any chat.
Step 4. In case you have selected the “Share to” option, then Instagram will share a list of supported apps and even include your frequent WhatsApp chat threads.
Step 5. You can now tap on the WhatsApp option to launch the IM app and select a contact to forward the Instagram link.
