What to Expect from Samsung S22

Let's Find out Details about the New Samsung Galaxy S22

Display

The Samsung Galaxy S22 lineup is expected to have a small display. This means that the display would be around 6.06-inch for the S22, 6.6-inch for the S22 Plus, and 6.81-inch for the S22 Ultra.

Design

The look and feel of the S22 and S22 Plus are expected to resemble their predecessors. However, the S22 Ultra might be designed similar to the Samsung Note successor.

Camera

Both the S22 and S22 Plus are expected to have a 50MP camera, which was the main attraction on the Pixel 6 as well. The S22 Ultra may have a better feature camera than 108 megapixels with a SuperClear lens.

Battery

The S22 series would be launched with small batteries. However, we are expecting the S22 to launch with a 45W fast charging feature, which will power the phone up to 70% in just 35 minutes.

Specs

The S22 will be powered by either Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 Chipset according to the region. However, we are expecting the S22 series to have the same RAM and storage options as the S21 series.

S Pen

It is expected that the new S22 Ultra will launch with an in-built S Pen. The next-gen S Pen will offer a latency of 2.98 milliseconds, which is three times more efficient than the predecessor.

More About the Samsung S22

Samsung normally launched its S-series phones in March, but the Samsung S21 was released in January last year. A recent report speculated the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be announced on February 8. After the launch, it will go on sale on February 24.
The pricing of the S22 series is still unknown. As sales of the Galaxy S20 series didn't impress because of the high prices, Samsung reduced the cost for all three models of the Galaxy S21 series by $200. We don't expect the price of the Samsung S22 to be more affordable. So the price of the S22 may start at $799 or $849 to match the Samsung S21 series.
Samsung removed the MicroSD slot from the Galaxy S21 series for some reason. While many users demand Samsung bring back this expandable storage option, the MicroSD slot would still be absent from the New Samsung S22 lineup.
