But lately, several user queries have been about sending messages to multiple contacts on WhatsApp simultaneously. So if you're looking to pass important information to your family members, friends, or co-workers on WhatsApp by sending the message once, the good news is there's a workaround for that.
And in this article, you'll discover four methods of how to send a message to multiple contacts on WhatsApp. Just keep reading!
Part 1: Send WhatsApp Message to Multiple Contacts via New Group
Part 2: Send a Message to Multiple Contacts on WhatsApp via Broadcast List
Part 3: Send a Message to Multiple Contacts on WhatsApp Without Creating Group

One of the easiest ways to send WhatsApp messages to multiple contacts is by using a new group. Yes, by creating a WhatsApp group, you can add the target contacts as group participants, then send the message you intend to share with them at once.
See how it works below;
For iPhone
Step 1: Go to WhatsApp on your iPhone and tap Chats from the bottom.
Step 2: Tap New Group at the top left and select contacts of folks to whom you wish to send the same message. Then tap Next.
Step 3: Type a preferred name for the Group in the Group Subject area. You can also add the group's display picture by clicking the Camera icon.
Step 4: Lastly, tap Create to finish creating the WhatsApp group.
For Android
Step 1: Open WhatsApp and tap the three-dot vertical icon at the top-right side. Then, choose New Group.
Step 2: Select the participants you want to add to the group.
Step 3: Enter the Group Subject and use the camera icon to add the group's display photo. Then, tap the Green checkmark to finish.
Step 4: Send the first message!
Note: You can only add and send the same message to a maximum of 512 contacts via a WhatsApp group.
If the people you want to send a WhatsApp message to do not know each other, you can create a broadcast list to carry out the operation. But what is a broadcast list?
A broadcast list allows you to send multiple contacts a message at once, thus saving you the stress of selecting those same contacts whenever you want to send them again.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android or iPhone.
Step 2: On iPhone, tap Broadcast Lists from the top right side and select New List.
Step 3: Select the Contacts of folks you want to send the same message to add them to the Broadcast list.
Step 4: After you choose the relevant contacts, tap Create to proceed.
Step 5: Type the message you want to send to the contacts you added to your broadcast list and tap Send.
Note: There's no limit to the number of broadcast lists you can create on your WhatsApp account.
You don't necessarily have to create a group or broadcast list if you're looking to send a WhatsApp message to multiple contacts. There are other workarounds that you can count on to operate. And here, we've explained two of them.
Since WhatsApp allows users to forward messages from one contact to others, you can easily use that to send the same message to multiple contacts.
However, keep in mind that you can only forward the same message to 5 people at once. So you'll have to repeat the process to send the message to more than 5 contacts.
Step 1: Locate the message you want to forward to multiple contacts. Then, hold it down and select Forward from the drop-down menu that appears.
Step 2: Select the contacts you want to send the message and tap Forward to finish.
Note: If you forward a message to your contact, the recipient will know the message was not sent by you initially.
Another reliable way to send a message to multiple contacts on WhatsApp is to copy it from someone you just sent it to, then paste it into the chat of people you wish to share it with. You can even edit the message before sending it to the target contacts. But the process is a bit stressful.
Step 1: Open the chat where you want to copy the message from on WhatsApp.
Step 2: Hold down the particular message until a drop-down menu appears. Then, select Copy.
Step 3: Locate the contact to whom you want to send the message and paste the copied text into the message area. Then, send it.
Repeat the process for every contact you want to get the message to.
The best options to send message to multiple contacts with broadcasts is by creating a new group, forwarding the message(s), or copying and pasting the messages.
You can use the same methods introduced in the article above to send a message to multiple contacts on WhatsApp.
Sadly, there's no official way to send WhatsApp messages to up to 10,000 contacts. But you can send to a maximum of 5000 people, which is only via a community. So you need third-party software, like DelightChat, Sendwo, etc., to perform such an operation.
We all know WhatsApp data can fill up phone storage quickly, and if you don't have enough cloud storage on Google Drive or iCloud, your essential data will be left hanging.
